The production of Eve Ensler’s The Good Body opens on Valentine’s weekend, February 12th at the Paradise Theater. Two acts of shocking and hilarious monologues will have you seriously reconsidering your own personal insecurities. “The Good Body merges cross-cultural explorations with Eve’s own personal journey coming to terms with her “less-than-flat, post-forties stomach.”

The intimate Paradise stage will be filled with wildly entertaining monologues led by Mary Bachran (as Eve) who interviews women from different walks of life about their body image – a suburban housewife, a teen at fat camp, a tattoo artist, a high-powered fashion magazine editor, a Maasai grandmother – each with a vivid story and perspective. Produced and directed by Alyssa Pinkerton & Amy DeLuca the stage will light up with an all-star cast of Paonia talent;  Chelsea Bookout, Lenore Cambria, Ashley Krest, Kelly Johnson, Peggysoup Lovey, Amber McDaniels and Brooke Warren.
