Blue Sage Presents Tomorrow’s Masters Student Art Show

Art work from North Fork Valley schools and the Blue Sage Art Explorations class will be displayed at the Blue Sage. The opening coincides with the Student Showcase featuring students from the Harmony Gang, the Marimba Ensembles, Dance Classes and the Cinema Studies program. The performance is Saturday, May 9 at 6:00pm and the gallery opening begins at 5:00pm. The performance and gallery opening are both free, but donations are welcome. Tomorrow’s Masters is an exhibit designed to provide student artists in the North Fork Valley the opportunity to show work in a professional gallery setting as well as to promote awareness of the artist talent among the community’s students. Participating schools include Paonia High School, Hotchkiss High School, Paonia Elementary and Vision Charter Academy.
Students in the Spring After School Arts Classes take the stage to share what they have learned with family and friends. On the stage the dance, singing, marimba and film students will present short performances.
The Blue Sage Center for the Arts is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization located in Paonia, CO providing education and expression in the arts and humanities in order to engage and enrich the North Fork community. Founded in 1996 the Blue Sage serves about 10,000 residents of the North Fork Valley annually through classes, events, gallery exhibits, venue rentals and arts outreach into local schools.
